Are Prince Charles and his parents at higher risk of getting the coronavirus? ?

As they are all elderly, senior citizens, above the age of 70 years old.

all HUMANS  have a RISK LEVEL .... its all about DEGREES of risk ..... being over  50  seem to have some increase RISK related to possible severity and OUTCOME   .....

...VIRUS  nasty thing they SEEK out a HOST  they don't  have VISION  just seek out a WARM functioning  human / animal  blood pumping body

A HOST is necessary for their REPLICATION

You aren't aware that Charles contracted the coronavirus and recovered?

Older people are at higher risk of contracting this disease, so Charles, his parents, Camilla, Anne, the Dukes of Gloucester and Kent are all considered higher risk and need to be wary.

The mentioned royals are taking precautions, the Queen and Philip isolating away from the population. Charles and Camilla were in isolation for several weeks but are now back to making socially-distanced visits.

But, all ages can contract this disease...

I guess so, but seems strange asking this in Royalty category as this applies to all senior citizens. If a Royal is elderly then the same vulnerabilities apply as the general public.

Prince Charles DID have Covid 19 - he and Camilla isolated at their property in the grounds of Balmoral - Scotland.   And Charles recovered.

The Queen and Prince Philip have been taking precautions since this first hit,  so neither is likely to develop the virus.

Charles has already had it at a time when The UK hadn’t fully locked down, logic therefore suggests his parents are at risk of getting it if they don’t continue to take the necessary precautions, (which they will do as an example to the rest of the country)

It's not a matter of it being easier to contract COVID as you get older - but the severity of the symptoms in the elderly.  Interesting tidbit I heard today:  it is 7 times easier to be infected by COVID-19 than regular influenza.  Scary !

  • Prince Charles reckons he has had it. His parents are probably at less risk of getting the virus as they are able to self-isolate more easily than most of us.

No because they have a lot more common sense than you

No. Prince Charles has had it and recovered.  His parents are no more, or less, at risk of getting it than anyone else, but it might have serious consequences if they did. A lot has to do with their overall health which is generally good. They have taken care (rather better care than the politicians) to minimise the risk to health, although it is comparatively easy to social distance when you live in a castle.
