Chance of the meteor hitting the Earth 0.042%, death by COVID 0.026%, should I trade my mask in for a helmet?

About 0.07% of the U.S. has already died of COVID.  Even if there were no more COVID deaths, which is unlikely, it would still be more than your figure for a meteor.

You should learn to use math properly. The estimated lifetime odds of dying by a meteorite or other similar is 1 in 1.6 million.

    0.000000625 lifetime odds.

Death is not the only issue of Covid-19. Hospitalization, permanent disabilities are far more common. The clock is still running on Covid-19 so the odds are affected by the actions taken. Without masks, social distance, economy shutdown, the initial estimates said 2 million dead in the USA, and Trump uses that no-action number. But, they really didn't know what happens when hospitals all fill up.

The USA numbers for closed cases:

    CLOSED CASES: 4,588,614

4,382,266 (96%) Recovered / Discharged, but about 15% have lasting effects

    Deaths 206,348 (4%)

Trade your mask for a brain.   You could use a logic assist.
