Is the name Leroy a popular name anymore?

I never here of newborns with that name anymore.

    According the Social Security Administration, which tracks the names of newborns, there were under 500 babies names Leroy each year since 1990.  In the 1920 -1940

    s the name was between 3,500 and 4,000 each year.  that would seem to indicate that it is not a popular name at this time.

    In Britain I cannot think that I have come across Leroy lately.

    I haven't heard a newborn named Leroy around here in decades and I live in the South.
