Extension leads in extension leads?

Is it okay to put one extension lead into another provided the first one is only used for the length and has no other connections aside from the other extension lead?

You could even split the supply at the first junction. The main thing is not to overload the wall socket (outlet) where the electricity is first obtained from, and not to overload the cable in the extension (unlikely).

Sure OK without heavy electrical loading  on them.
