People say snowflakes are unique, but in reality, there's quite a few with similar or identical patterns. The REAL variety comes from the structure of neural pathways in our brains. I'm betting it's not just human brains either. Nature keeps demonstrating that it's Very good at variation, after all that variation is what basically drives evolution and adaptation, but since brains are where all living things (except plants) store their consciousness, it's not hard to see why they're all different.

Even twins have different make-ups within their heads, and it's this pattern of electrochecmical wiring that changes things like personality, degree of religious gullibility, how rational or creative someone is, etc. etc.

Things would be a lot easier if we had less variation, but then we'd be more like ants. Taking orders from a queen, or single authority figure with unquestioning obedience. When people (or cults) want everyone to fit the same mold, it's usually a good indicator that their ultimate goals are Not good or moral.

The world would be a  boring place  if everybody was exactly the same as the other guy.
