What could it misinform to others?

So I actually like to read articles online because I prefer that over a newspaper and read an article how liver function blood tests can show abnormal results or tilt results if you consume alcohol 48 hours before a liver function blood test. So could a test like that say liver failure liver disease or liver inflammation if you drank lots of alcohol before this test causing those results to appear if the liver needs time to regenerate and was interrupted by alcohol while getting tested?

Few people are stupid enough to keep drinking prior to being tested.

Those who are unwilling or unable to refrain from drinking are likely to have liver damage anyway.
