Did the BBC axe Sunday Worship because it is Christian?

It was only on 1 hour per week 

Update 3:

Half of the Church services they showed had mostly black-Christian congregations

     nope-

    cos not many ARE christian - and few of those attend church

    There are a lot who might claim to be church of england

    But by far most attend church on only 3 occasions

    christenings

    weddings,

    funerals

     and ps- a lot of so called "christian" festivals or celebrations aint christian at all - they are pagan

     e.g "harvest festival" is pagan

    It is more likely that it was axed because religious broadcasting on mainstream television in the 21st century is an anachronism.

    They've announced they'll be more inclusive. This means their majority audience will watch less and less BBC until they stop paying the licence fee altogether, resulting in it getting in to a cycle they can't escape from and closing. I personally don't want to watch gay dating or gay men kissing etc.
