It actuality, the whole thing is a grey area. Posting a pic on the internet is easy to steal. You should always put a watermark or identifier on your pictures so that they can be idenfied as YOURS whenever they are posted. You can even be sneaky about this, by hiding it as a slightly different color in one area, or by making it large and mostly translucent branding the pic as YOURS and no one elses. Reposting is them so much brand marketing. there are some free apps for this, google them up. See my example, but instead of "proof" you can put yourname, company name, or even an email address.
You do have the copyright being the photographer and can legally request someone take down one of your photos, especially if they are using it to make money. NOTE: You own the copyright only if you are the PHOTOGRAPHER, not just the first person to share it in the group.
