Does anyone know ?

I have an old (at least fifteen years) Whirlpool dishwasher that needs to be replaced. Is there a risk of asbestos in the removal ?

Asbestoes hasn't been used in insulation for nearly 50 years. That is the ONLY part of a dishwasher that MAY have contained asbestos.

Only if your house has asbestos in it. The dishwasher doesn't.
