    DOMAIN:

Basically there is no restriction on the input value (x). It can be as small or as big as you like.In interval notation we write:(-∞, ∞)*Notice we always use curved parentheses when dealing with -∞ or ∞ because we can never reach them.RANGE:Similarly, the output value (y) can be as small or as big as you like.In interval notation we write:(-∞, ∞)What you have is the equation of a line. As long as the line isn't vertical or horizontal, the domain and the range are all real numbers --> (-∞, ∞)
