Why are people afraid to take the vaccine?

Because we trust no one anymore.

Because the left (especially the media and politicians) are so reflexively anti-Trump that even when he does noncontroversial things, or things Obama did, they rake him over the coals for it. Note - I am NOT pro-Trump. But I am independent enough to not fall for the tribalism of either side, and the left has been unprecedentedly unfair to the Orange Moron. He does more things wrong before 7am than most people do wrong all week...but he isn't wrong 100% of the time as the left would have you believe.
The FDA has sped up it's approval process, not by skipping steps, but by allowing steps to be done concurrently. Phases 1 and 2 were done at the same time. Approval paperwork is being evaluated immediately instead of waiting for months in a queue. The FDA is pre-analyzing many aspects of the trials whereas normally it would wait until afterwards. There is no 'skipping' of safety measures going on.
But that doesn't fit the media narrative that everything Trump is evil. So they're attacking a lifesaving set of vaccine candidates before they even finish the process and endangering lives. It's horrific levels of partisanship. Which is why we need to dump BOTH parties. Do not vote for either major party this November. THERE IS NO LESSER EVIL between them.

You've never heard of medication drugs and scientific testing that leaves people mamed deformed with birth defects and many other things? You need to study your medical history. It's not good to just blindly follow medical scientists. It's good to be skeptical no matter how much they tell you you should blindly believe and just do what you're told. Many people have done that in the past and suffered severe deformities, sickness and death at the hands of medical scientists and doctors. no one has to blindly follow them they have to win the public's trust by making sure that the drug is safe it's not safe just because they say so.
The question you should be asking is why is it wrong to be cautious and skeptical given the history of medicine littered with medical negligence cover-ups and outright murder?
Why are we required to automatically just blindly believe and follow the medical community?
Have you ever asked yourself that question?
Why is the media ridiculing people for being cautious and skeptical? Shouldn't it be encouraging that?
Part of the reason why they want people to just believe them is because they need guinea pigs for the first round of vaccines to see how many people die. if they don't use it on someone then they don't really know if it works so they need you to volunteer to be the guinea pigs.
If a lot of people get sick and die then they say oops sorry. If only a few people die that cover it up. if no one dies then they say see we told you so.
I think that's the real brainwashing that's going on. Basically the media and the medical elites are two giant mom religion for profit cults that work in tandum to eliminate skeptics, sell drugs, and use the public as guinea pigs.
Ridicule, peer pressure and attacking and eliminating skeptics is a major sign of brainwashing and cult tactics.
Good people follow blindly, bad people ask questions. That's cult brainwashing and manipulation 101.

because of foolish rumors spread by ignorant people.

WE need to know what is in it, what is is made of and what are the side effect's and we need to know the truth if that is possible.

Funny that, since we've never been lied to, tricked or deceived. There have NEVER been ANY cover-ups OR crooked politicians . . . EVER.Source(s): LOL

Which vaccine? I have had several in my life because I don't want to die of a preventable disease. And why is this in R&S?
- Annsan_In_HimLv 73 weeks ago
What vaccine? What do you know that the rest of us don't? If you refer to a vaccine against the current Covid virus, there isn't one yet. But all scientists have to do is show that one they produce is effective against the current virus, with no side effects to speak of, and billions of people will not be afraid to take it. And why are you anonymous? What are YOU afraid of? Oh, and this Q has nothing to do with R&S. It should be in the Health section.
