There has been a decrease because not as many schools/businesses where they happened are open. One benefit of social distancing.

The people with violent antisocial tendencies have been too busy interfering with peaceful protests to go shoot up a church or school.

C-19 meant fewer mass shootings because fewer mass gatherings. As the country opened up, mass shootings increased.

Major increase the last 3-4 months in mass shootings. They've doubled. It doesn't fit the media/democrat narrative though.

These are astounding numbers when compared to previous years.

The government hasn’t been planned any more so they can’t report it.

Often times it only makes local news. There's been a lot of pushback against reports of mass shootings by the NRA. Their supporters become vocal when mass shootings are reported, including claming it's all fake news or a government false flag operation. This disrupts the news ability to give a simple reporting of just the facts.

Of course there has been an increase. We used to have a couple mass shootings each year in the early 1980s. Now we have one every day on average.
