What kind of training is required to become a bodyguard in NYC?

Is there any specific qualification needed to be a bodyguard in the US and what kind of training do they get?

Probably some training yes. You med experience in security, unless you look like a bodyguard and can behave like one.

It’s up to the person that hires you. 

It would help if you’re a big tall strong person, have taken self defense classes or know some martial arts.
