Places of work only give paternity leave under the impression you’re coming back (if they give paternity at all).  A girl that used to work with me went on maternity leave and never came back...all the money she got when she was away had to be paid back because they were under the impression she was coming back, when you don’t you don’t get paid and they collect everything you own, they get the money back somehow
