You bet your butt it's abuse.  And such parents ought to be prosecuted.  But what would you expect from parents for which abortion isn't a big problem either?

This is abuse and should never be done.

YES I would say so since gender is not locked in until after they are 12 years old and locked in does not mean always either there are other environmental factors to consider not to mention some people when they get older are Bi so putting any chemicals in a child needlessly  is a form of abuse...

    First, it isn't irreversible.

Second, not doing it is irreversible.  The purpose is to delay what would normally be irreversible, so that the child can decide when old enough.

Third, if they don't do it, the child often commits suicide.  Doing it saves the child's life.  That is not abuse.  Not doing, and letting the child die as a result, could be.

Any life-altering medical procedure done on an under-aged child that is not necessary to prevent a deadly disease such as cancer etc. is definitely child abuse.  I predict that in 20 years or so there is going to be a huge wave of people launching law suits against their parents for permitting 'gender correction' treatments.

    Absolutely.

This madness is starting to look like ancient Rome's treatment of children.

Of course, they had a kind of excuse.

They put lead in EVERYTHING; wine, water jugs, lined the aquifers with it.

They were literally an entire civilization suffering brain rotting lead poisoning.
