My whole family spoke English only.

I find it handy for communication.  Sometimes I use it to answer questions on Y!A although a lot of them seem to be asked in Grunt rather than English.

Not any more or less than any other language.  It's just a means of communication.

It's the only language that I can speak. I don't love it or hate it. It just is what it is.
