    no they attempt to cook and gradually become better at dishes and try to impress the husband, the kids, and the rest of family. many mothers learn cooking just like the rest of us,but definitely more  motivated.

    No My Mother was a great Cook but never a cheif she could not see the Point on Pouring Sauce on the plate when it should be on the Food

    Not every person is a chef but every mother is a chef for there children.

    Most mothers are cooks.

    Chef is a job title, not a family chore.

    Not my mom.  I learned more about cooking from my dad.

    No.  Many mothers know how to cook, but they are not all chefs

    Apparently you have never met MY mother. She can't cook her way out of a paper bag. This is why Both her kids became professional chef's.

    Chef - definition - a professional cook, typically the chief cook in a restaurant or hotel.

    In a nutshell - NO!

    Certainly not. (My mother's cooking comes to mind. Not in a good way.)

    But most mothers are, at some level, cooks.
