Octopuses can change their DNA as they need, if evolutionism is true then why haven’t human beings and all animals evolved this ability?

Try putting your question in Science & Mathematics-Biology since it's about science, not religion. The folks in there may be able to explain how evolution works, to you.

Moving your question can be done by clicking Edit (pencil icon for mobile)>Edit category just beneath your question, then selecting the category that's appropriate for the topic.

    Wrong.

The title to the article below is misleading.  The animals can only change their RNA, big difference.  And apparently all animals can including us humans to better adapt to environments.  Just because Darwin noticed some differences in finch beaks over a few years does not prove that a bacterium will slowly change into a bat over a billion years.

Nothing proving evolutionism here.  Move along folks.

Evolution isn't like shopping at the mall. If something lives and breeds, than it lives and breeds. If something dies without breeding, it dies without breeding.

"But most organisms don't really bother with this method, as it's messy and causes problems more often that solving them.

"The consensus among folks who study such things is Mother Nature gave RNA editing a try, found it wanting, and largely abandoned it," "

Octopuses developed their traits because it was necessary for their survival. Humans and other animals developed different traits to insure their survival. You really don't understand any of this stuff, do you.

If divine creation is true, why did God only give that ability to octopuses?

Why should human beings evolve some feature just because some other animal does? It is not as though evolution is some intelligent designer who could assign any attributes they liked to their favourite species. Being able to change our DNA might be a disadvantage to humans, as it could make it to unstable. Epigenetics does change how our genes are expressed, depending on our environment, though.

You seem to think that evolution means that if one species develops an adaptation that means ALL will.  This is clearly not true or we would ALL have every trait.

Indeed, this very silly question is actually better directed at believers in Magical Sky Fairies.  If the Magical Sky Fairy made all the creatures, why wouldn't he give all the best abilities to every creature since it isn't adaptation to specific environments and conditions that drives their form, but the whim of the Magical Sky Fairy?

Yeah, and why can't we breathe underwater?  And fly?  And eat raw meat?  And abandon our young?  Why can't humans be exactly like all other animals???
