At what age should kids decide how they want their hair cut?
- Anonymous1 month agoFavourite answer
It depends on the child.
I think kids should have input/choice as soon as they want to. But that doesn't mean they get free rein.
For example, if you have a child who wants long hair but they refuse to brush it or they scream and throw fits when you try to brush it, they can be given the choice of properly caring for their hair or cutting it.
Hair is a pretty harmless way kids can express themselves as long as they're in compliance with policy for things they participate in such as school, ballet, etc.

13 imo as my kids wanted it done their way when they were younger and they threw a fit, saying it is ugly.
