Just to clarify what someone else said:

Stones and rocks and boulders and pebbles are all the same things: rock material.

Stone (singular) is generally used for large amounts. "Stones" (plural) can be used for finished stones for jewelry, but not necessarily. Rock is just the generic term, boulders are defined as rocks bigger than a foot across, and pebbles are smaller than 2.5 inches.

Looks sorta Like Apitite, which is known to come in yellow and greenish colors---AND they are not "Stones"   STONES are rocks modified by man as in Jewelry or building elements.

Could be agate which would look very pretty if you cut them open with a saw. Do they look very fine grained? Look up if it's normal to find agate In the area you found them
