How have we got to a point where China can openly mock Australia?

They call Australian MPs 'thugs' and say Australia has a 'disgraceful history'. Chinese state media have referred to Australians as 'gum on the bottom of our shoe'. Fvck you China. The Australians may be fvcktards, but they are our fvcktards. We shouldn't put up with the way China treats Aussies.

Serb Bob: Unfortunately not, it actually happened

Update 2:

Dildo: You really don't care that the Chinese are slagging you off? Nah, you probably don't. I care more about the reputation of Australia than you do.

China has always ran its own media for its own benefit. So they will say whatever they like in their own media, often winning arguments in that forum while the rest of the world, and the middle class population they are trying to persuade scoffs at what they read.

I think anyone can openly mock any other country ....

This isn't mocking, but stating a fact: The Sydney Gay Pride Parade was a huge moneyspinner for Sydney businesses for many years. But marriage equality didn't happen there until AFTER Ireland - a country with many historic links with Australia, and a country which many Australians seem to think is poor, backward, and manically Catholic - VOTED to change its laws and make same-sex marriage legal.

    We called your bluff, bitches.

The Chinese Communist Party will criticise any nation perceived as a threat. Almost any Chinese citizen, given the opportunity, would leave China for Australia in the blinking of an eye.

The rest of us do.  Why should it be different for the chinks?

I think the referral that Australia is the "gum on the bottom of their shoe" sums up Australia well.  We tell it as it is and will not be shut up by the might and power of the Chinese government.  It, like gum on the bottom of our shoe is a nuisance or annoyance, and China sees Australia as an annoying country that is happy to criticize China when she really wishes no one would notice the sly things they are trying to do to intimidate small countries.  Communists do not take criticism well as in their country you take those who criticize the Chinese government out the back and shoot them so they can't criticize anymore, but they cannot do that with a foreign country.

Communist governments do not take it well when capitalist countries especially one with such a small population as Australia compared to the hugely populated China who criticize them or ask for an enquiry into how coronavirus really started in China.  China sees Australia as that little kid that no matter how much you knock him around he gets back up and carries on attacking you.  China believes as it buys so much off Australia then Australia should shut up or they will take their purchasing elsewhere.  They threaten Australia and put huge tariffs on our agricultural exports hoping to intimidate us into backing down and doing as we are told.  They see our siding with America against their expansionism as a problem and are also trying to intimidate Australia to stop siding with their other main problem, the USA.

Back a few months ago China sailed 3 powerful Naval ships straight at Australia only turning away right on the edge of Australian sovereign waters trying to intimidate us saying we can do anything we want and there is nothing you can do to stop us, although they knew they could not risk sailing naval ships into Australian waters without permission so they really know they are not in total control yet and cannot risk an international incident of aggression.

The reality is their environment is so toxic that's soon it will start shortening their lives, producing still births and deformities, while we live in a much cleaner environment, jealousy is a curse.

China has been trash talking Australia for years now, but conversely say anything back to them in our defence and they accuse us of racism. The Chinese leadership are scum.

Yet just look at the way they treat their own citizens in Hong Kong. Then remember back to the Tienanmen square massacre, where they purportedly murdered tens of thousands of protesters. I think their leadership should be tried for crimes against humanity, but good luck prosecuting them on it.

Btw, when Australia called for an international inquiry into the Covid19 release, they accused us of racism then too. An official inquiry into their handling of this dire situation is exactly what's needed.

I think they should be paying the world compensation for the cover-up, loss of income and so many deaths. If they won't pay - which of course they won't, then set in place an international trade embargo to punish their sorry butts.
