    2 HCl (aq) + 1 Na2CO3 (s) → 2 NaCl (aq) + H2O (ℓ) + 1 CO2 (g)

    (.500L *0.500 mol/L Na2CO3) (2 mol HCL/1mol Na2CO3) (1L/2.25mol HCL) = ______ L HCL

    0.500 X 0.500 X 2 / 2.25  =  0.222222222 L  <<<  round for sig figs
