Is pasta vegan?

I identify as a vegan but haven't touched pasta yet

Some might have eggs in it. But, I'd wager the majority of store bought dried pastas are vegan. Just check the box.

Pasta is normally made with eggs, so no. There IS egg free pasta for vegans though.

You never know even vegan food is many times processed in areas that “may contain meat” so you just never know.

Why are you a vegan if you don't even know what it means? Educate yourself about foods and learn how to read package labels. Make sure you understand protein needs and how to meet them on a vegan diet. And what nutritional supplements you will need to take (because you will not be ablle to meet those needs on a vegan diet).

Until you know what you are doing, do not attempt a vegan diet. We only get this one body and if you wreck it, there is no replacement ... just one per customer!

It is vegan, unless "egg" is listed as an ingredient
