Should mean "send in the mail or by other carrier".
Post Office is an building to mail letters and packages.
There are other meanings of the word post.

post is a good word to say mail (to). post means send physical things to a particular location, basically. Thus the Postal Service and the Post Office.

The verb "to post" could mean, "to send via the mail service", or it could also mean, "to set out and make available".
