The mask rule was made to stop people from killing each other.

Think back, we saw some physical outbursts over people standing too close to each other when this first started.

The "experts" have been all over the place re: the new-wave, cloth masks.  The idea now seems to be that you should wear one to minimize the spread of your germs to others.  A cloth mask is worthless in preventing the wearer from inhaling virus particles.  Put it this way:  OSHA does not recognize a POS cloth mask as effective prevention against inhaling things like construction dust---which is HUGE compared to virus particles.  The people who think a mask is protecting them against Covid should ask themselves why their cloth underwear doesn't prevent their farts from stinking up a room in fairly short order.  Unless someone is actively coughing or yelling right at you, you probably are no safer with a mask than without one.

The virus is spread through water molecules, so wearing a mask helps to stop the spread.

So, yes, not wearing a mask makes you more likely to transmit the virus, if you are a carrier, but also more likely to contract the virus as you have nothing to filter out water molecules.

These answers are just WRONG. A mask protects others from you, but it also protects YOU. That is why doctors wear masks all day.

You have less chance of catching it if you wear a mask. That is why they have very few cases in places like China, Japan and South Korea. They all wear masks.

if your outdoors? Nope. Indoors? Maybe. The say the mask isnt to protect you its to protect others from you if you have the virus. Better safe than sorry though. Im wearing it until I its safe again.

Unless one is wearing a medical grade N95 mask the mask only protects others from you, not the reverse.

A mask does not protect you from catching it. It only protects others from catching it from you.

    No - of course not.

The masks, by the way, are not meant to stop other people from getting the virus - they're to stop the person wearing the mask from passing it on to others.
