Are you going to get the new consoles just released?

Boy at around $500, that's like a week's pay, and with bills I won't be able to get one for awhile, unless there's a stimulus check. I never did end up getting a ps4 or xbox one.

Yes I just found out Xbox One has backwards compatibility with almost all the games so I’ll probably pick that up soon

No. Every generation of console claims to be so much better than the last and in reality they're not. Think I'll sit this one out and keep gaming on my cellphone.

no there is no benefit between a $500 console that does the exact same thing a $50 does

I have NEVER bought the first releases.

Let those who want to scramble around to find and own the latest, greatest console, with not many games and possible hardware issues, buy them, not I.

When Horizon Forbidden West has a release date, MAYBE?

Bayonetta 3 still doesn't have a release date and that's a Switch Exclusive.

I'm still building my PS4, Switch and Xbox One library.

Not to mention, a few on 3DS.

    Buy A PS5!!!!

You can probably buy a good used PS4 at Gamestop, but check prices.

If You own NONE of them, maybe save up, wait, and buy a PS5 after the new year.

Physical PS4 discs are said to work except =

Afro Samurai 2 Revenge of Kuma Volume One

    Assassin's Creed Syndicate

    Assassin's Creed Chronicles: India

    Assassin's Creed Chronicles: China

    Assassin's Creed Chronicles: Russia

    DWVR

    Hitman Go: Definitive Edition

    Joe's Diner

    Just Deal With It!

    Risk

    Robinson: The Journey

    Space Junkies

    Shadow Complex Remastered

    Shadwen

    Star Trek Bridge Crew (PSVR)

TT Isle of Man - Ride on the Edge 2

    Werewolves Within

    We Sing

    As of November 11 2020.

"Assassin's Creed Chronicles" is a great game. Side scrolling, platformer version of an Assassin's Creed game.

Pay attention to the updates on what's not backwards compatible.

Spend a bit more on the Standard and NOT the digital.

I go with PC games. Instead of spending $500 to $1000 every year or so on consoles, I spend half that much on PC upgrades.

I'll get one when enough exclusives are out for the PS5. No point in dropping $$$ on a console with only 1 exclusive I currently want to play.

I also won't be getting one.  In my opinion, the PC is much superior to any console.  And I have a good PC right now so I'm happy with that.

I doubt if I will ever get one.  I'm a PC gamer and I guess I'm spoiled.
