Is it bad to blind yourself in one eye?

Question

I started looking at my phone in the dark with one eye open.  Turn the brightness all the way up for a while and then stumble around blind in one eye. It’s a pretty fun experiment and I like doing it.  Is this bad for me at all?  I don’t think it’s dangerous or causing any real damage.
