iPhone battery replacement?

Can a degraded iPhone battery affect performance while plugged in, or is performance only affected while unplugged?

You can check battery strength in settings on iphone, once its down to 75% or so, I would get a new battery put in if you arent buying a new one anytime soon but thats jmo.

Performance shouldn't be hindered when plugged in. A bad battery only matters when you are using it unplugged.
