Can you ride a horse with 3 legs?
If a horse has a prosthetic hind leg would you be able to ride the horse? Just to be clear so people don't get all mad at me, this is for a research project and I wouldn't go out and actually ride a horse with 3 legs because someone on yahoo said I could.

Horses with a prosthetic leg can do many things.
Spanish Riddle, a famous racehorse, sired a future Hall of Famer after losing a front leg in 1973. Another famous racehorse foaled another after losing a hind leg.
We've come a long way since then... but I don't think you could or should ride one. Never heard of anyone doing so.

My opinion: No.
There are a very few horses who have been fitted with a prosthetic leg. It's really a borderline therapy. If such a horse can live out a happy life eating grass in a pasture, god bless him.
But he would not be safe to ride. Dangerous for both the horse, and the rider.
