When I had a bird in my house, she never freaks out. I'm living in Okinawa, which has Typhoons a lot in summer, but she was totally fine! lol

I never had a bird freak out because of a storm, though some dogs have.  I have seen birds freak out because of an earthquake in the middle of the night.  Probably because it woke them up.
