Let us be honest, he deserved that goal, no way should an international goalkeeper have been unable to jump higher than two inches off the ground and have the opposing striker display better goalkeeping attributes such as punching the ball, than the goalkeeper.

I asked a similar question about Shilton being at fault for that goal but no one has ever said that in public.

Also you could criticise some pathetic attempts at tackling but England in his second goal. He should have been fouled, (fairly violently as you’d have thought England would have been a tad annoyed by then), before he got to the penalty box.
