I heard whole eggs are bad for weight loss? Is this true?

No, whole eggs are fine for weight loss. As with anything, don't eat too much of them. They figure heavily in low-carb diets and are a good source of protein. They also fill you up well.

Weight Watchers recommended them.

No. Eggs are protein and fat, so they are a great food for providing both essential fatty acids and essential amino acids. As with any food, you need to be mindful of the calories of any food you eat and how that fits into your calorie deficit plan.
A few years or decades ago, a lot of people got into eating egg whites (the part that is protein), but there is no evidence that eating just egg whites makes any difference. Weight loss comes down to being a calorie deficit and also being in a state where your body doesn't have fuel from food to burn. Only then will your body be able to access stored fat.

Whites are protein. Yolks are mostly fat and high in calories. But like anything else, you can eat whole eggs as long as you don't overdo it. There is a place for them in restricted calorie diets.
