Birth control effectiveness before 7th pill?

Question

From my understanding it takes one week for the pill to become active in your system. I take my birth control pills every night at 10pm but my boyfriend came inside me a few hours before I took my seventh pill on the seventh day. I took it that night but am not sure if this would affect anything or if I should be worried?

The birth control pill takes a month to prevent pregnancy, a full cycle. 

Yes you should be worried,  but you can deal with that worry by taking a pregnancy test.
