Is it possible when Obama was elected the strain of finally electing a minority to President was too much for the Republicans to handle?

Seem like they've been acting a fool real bad ever since. Correct me if I am wrong.

It was like something bit them.

    Yeah, that's a fair call. But it wasn't just bcuz he was black. It was the fact that Obama was an articulate, successful, polished, intelligent black man. That intimidated the crap outta them.

    Thanks to O'Bama over 5 million people were put out of their homes and there are now open air slave markets in Libya. Oh, and Mr. Environment bought a mansion 500 feet from the allegedly rising ocean. he also put more debt on the books then all previous presidents combined.

    According to polling, Republicans would have nominated Colin Powell by a landslide in the mid 90s...decades before Democrats did.  But Powell declined to run because he knows the toll a campaign takes on a family.
