Why are squat lobsters so naughty?

I recently got kind of addicted to watching deep sea expedition videos and I noticed that crabs and squat lobsters are always getting into trouble. There was one video where a big swarm of them were just vibing in a water column and floating around, and another video where they were bullying a small shark. What makes crabs and squat lobsters want to act up so badly?
