Anyone here knows about Wilmington NC area?

Ok so is anyone here from Wilmington NC or at least knows the area? If you do, do you know about Hewlett's creek? I am a Dawson's creek fan and I would like to know by some real life people if you like the area,if you've been there,if you like moving around with boats in the creek,stuff like that

Hewletts Creek is basically a drainage ditch.  It connects to an inlet which small boats or kayaks could navigate.  It's nothing special for the area as there other other similar outlets.  There's a few people that use them for recreation, but overall most people don't think anything of them.
