Who was the first person to domesticate a wolf or wolves?

    There's not even any definite records for when they began to domesticate them let alone who actually did. It is believed that dogs/wolves were the first animal ever domesticated by humans. They don't even know for sure where in the world it began.

    The Norwegian Elkhound is one of the oldest if not oldest "breed" of dogs.

    So I would guess some one who was Norwegian whose name is lost to antiquity.
