Since the Atlanta voting centers wiped their voting machines,,,what can be done now as far as the Sidney Powell lawsuit there?

Update:

SINCE THE ATLANTA VOTING CENTERS WIPED THEIR VOTING MACHINES YESTERDAY (AFTER THEY "CRASHED"? OR WHAT HAPPENED EXACTLY?)...WHAT CAN BE DONE NOW AS FAR AS THE SIDNEY POWELL LAWSUIT THERE? WHAT IF THEY ALSO DISCARD OR REPLACE THE FRAUDULENT BALLOTS? WHAT IF DO SIMILAR IN NEVADA? ARE THOSE BALLOTS UNDER LOCK AND KEY? BY WHOSE WATCH?

Courts have for a long time regarded, correctly, destruction of evidence as admission of guilt.

If our court system is functioning, the Georgia election has to be thrown out at this point.

Incidentally, merely "recounting" paper ballots whose validity is disputed doesn't really accomplish anything. What was requested and required was an audit, and that did not take place.

They did a recount of PAPER ballots.  It matched the original voting total. Biden won.  Someone is lying to you.

The request for a search of the machines lacks any logical sense.  At this point, the trial court out of an abundance of caution put a stay in place for three selected counties while he considers the request to search those machines, but has not yet decided whether to allow the inspection of the machines.

But the evidence is clear.  The Secretary of State's office has already done a logic test on the machines.  The Secretary of State's office has already inspected the machine.

More importantly, you have the original machine count which gave us one set of numbers.  We had a follow-up hand audit of all ballots which gave us a second set of numbers.   We can compare the two sets of numbers (which has been done).  While a hand count has its own issues of accuracy (which is why everybody has moved to machine counts), a hand count shows whether there are any significant issues which would require a further inspection of the macines.

The results of the audit were pretty much what people who have done recounts in the past would have told you to expect. In most counties, there were some ballots that were not read by the machine on election night (things like circling the candidates names rather than filling in the circle) and some non-votes (things like the original and a duplicate both being run through the machine) which were accounted for in the audit resulting in a change in the total number of votes cast.  The total number of additional votes statewide were around 5,000 -- less than 0.1% of the total votes.  These additional votes resulted in a shift toward Trump of around 500 votes (again what experience around the country would suggest is the most that you can expect to gain in a hand recount of optic scan ballots).

Comparing the numbers in the individual counties, over half of the counties had a change less than the number of "additional" votes discovered in the audit.  In the remaining counties in which the , the split was Trump gaining votes in about two-thirds of the counties and Biden gaining votes in about one-third of the counties.

Fulton County (Atlanta) is not one of the counties covered by the order.  But the audit in Fulton showed a swing of less than the number of additional votes found which would suggest that the problem was in how the ballots were completed rather than the machine.  Of the three counties covered by the judge's order, two (Gwinnett and Cobb) are similar to Fulton.  The only county covered by the order in which the swing exceeded the change in the number of total votes was Cherokee in which the swing was ten votes in favor of Trump and the change in the total number of votes was three votes.  Applying the change in Cherokee County statewide would give you a swing of either approximately 1100 votes (if you treat all counties as having the same numerical swing) or approximately 200 (if you apply the percentage change in Cherokee County to all votes)

In short, the evidence shows that Ms. Powell's claim is utterly meritless.  Whether the court, out of an abundance of caution allows a very quick and supervised inspection of the machines is something that we will not know until Friday.  But, the underlying claims involving the machines are going to be rejected in light of the hand audit.

She was supposed to have her evidence BEFORE she filed her suits! She's a moron with no evidence and will probably lose her license to practice law.

I went through that. They are required by law to do a recount that uses those machines. They did a hand count that matched the machine counts fairly closely already. The judge initially said to wait with the machines, but on a technically, the defendants named in the lawsuit did not control the machines. On a larger picture, Conservative SCOTUS is VERY clear to follow laws and process defined by the legislature. Judges should avoid stepping into the legislative authority. They have a schedule to certify their final results and TRUMP asked for a recount. What are the county officials supposed to do? QAnon Sydney Powell conspiracy theories can only be entertained so far. They have 5 million votes to recount.

They did not wipe their voting machines. You have been listening to fake news.

in fact, these machines have been set aside for further examination by judicial order. The reason Trump isn't getting anywhere is there is no evidence of what he is suggesting.

''to date, we have not seen fraud on a scale that could have effected a different outcome in the election'' William Barr.

See if William Barr goes against Trump, it's over.

The suit can be dismissed for lack of evidence like all the other lawsuits.
