It could be something as simple as hemorrhoids or a fissure on the anus, or, it could be much more serious. If it doesn't clear up soon you should see a doctor. It could be cancer.

See a doctor and be checked out.  It may just be an internal hemorrhoid and no big danger or it could be anything causing internal bleeding such as bowel cancer.  I had a friend who died a year ago who ignored bleeding from the butt and it was a friend who was visiting who saw something was badly wrong and actually called an ambulance.  My friend died in hospital of internal bleeding 3 days later.  It is likely not serious but should be checked out in case it is.
