My dark brown hair, looks reddish in the Sun? ?

Hello,

Why does my dark brown hair look reddish in the Sun?

When I was younger, my hair in a photos looked gingerish but I cannot remember what my hair colour as a toddler was as I was fostered.

My eyes were blueish green when I was younger and now they are Hazel green.

I do have Scottish Ancestry and have caramel skin.

Sorry for alot of details, but I just wanted to know if it is anything to do with genetics if I am a secret redhead or just a brunette.

Your hair has red undertones.

All brown hair has red pigments in it, anybody should know that much, all color also have an undertone!
