The US certainly isn't the most educated nation on the planet but I think you'd be hard pressed to find many Americans who think Boris Johnson is Muslim.

No.  They can believe it is run by people from flying saucers if they like.   I don't see how that would affect things.

Americans haven't got a clue about the world around them. Most of them are as thick as a brick.
