Is $5,000 enough savings to get an apartment?
The apartment rent is $1100 a month. I work full time.

Savings is immaterial to a landlord. What they look at is your monthly income and they would like it to be 3x your monthly rent.
You can use your savings to pay your security deposit and first month's rent along with any fees charged for processing your application and any moving expenses you might have.

Your income needs to be $3928 or more. $5000 is plenty.
