Why do abusers apologize and then abuse you again?

That’s what they do, they don’t want to lose you, so it’s “I’m so sorry babe, it’ll never happen again” but they got no intentions on changing, so it happens again, it’s up to you to break that cycle. 

Most women are dumb enough to think they can change them, they want to change them into the man they want them to be but it usually never works out that way.

And I’m being generic in this answer, usually it’s the man that is the abuser but in some cases it is the woman, so if that’s the case with you just switch the genders in the last paragraph I wrote 🤷🏻‍♀️
