Tattoo infection or ink loss ?

Question

I have had this tattoo for a month now,and the ink looks of I'm not sure if its infected or just ink loss. Also the lines are still a little rise.

Ink loss, not an infection.  

It looks like your tattoo is settling into the skin, but is fully healed.  Because it is fully healed, it isn't infected.  

It needs a touchup, thats all.

Ink loss, I had the same problem, after 4 months  my tattoo looked about 20 years old; I had it redone but the same happened again. Are you on any type of medication that could affect the results? Just a thought.

I would go back to the tat artist that did your tattoo. I don't see any kind of infection in this photo. I dont think it is ink loss, unless the tat artist did not go over the lines thoroughly.
