Why do some online stores who have their own websites succeed while others do not? ?

    Same reason some brick and mortar stores succeed and others don't 

    Better merchandise 

    Better prices

    Better service

    And more and better luck

    Some on line stores sell things that EVERYBODY needs and wants and they do it at a great price.

    Other on line stores sell things that no body really needs and not a lot of people want, and they sell it at a very high price so no one can afford it.

    There are a lot of reasons but it all comes down to on line presence.

    An on line store is like opening a store on a rock in the middle of a desert. No one will know you are there unless you tell them, show them the way and offer them something newer, better, and more interesting at a price they cannot resist paying.

    So if you open an on line shop and sell plain grey phone chargers for $14,000.00 and you do not advertise...it will be many years before you sell even one phone charger.

    But if you open an on line shop that sells those SAME phone chargers in many colors and you not only advertise but you sell those phone chargers for $3.99  AND give them a coupon for $1.00 off their next purchase....you will have many customers every day
