Isn't removing Trump from Home Alone 2...?
Kind of like removing cigarettes from older films? We all know they are both harmful, cancerous, and overall not good for you, but why change a movie for that? Just because something or someone could get you killed?

They contractually were required to have Trump in it in order to use the hotel. Trump (and his ego) insisted on a cameo to give permission.
The only removal of the scene would be on things like TV broadcasts which can remove things for time.

I dont support trump or anything, but thats BS! Why do they remove him just cuz they dont want him as president? You are right, its exactly like removing cigarettes from older films and its stupid.

He bullied his way on that film so if thats true, they have the right to remove him especially for what he made happen last week. Nobody only psychos like him. Remove as president & put him in jail

The CBC removed that scene years before Trump entered politics. It was removed solely to make time for the commercials. The scene with Trump actually served no purpose in the telling of the story.

Seeing and hearing trump turns many people's stomach, and after 4 years of it people don't want to be reminded of him... and that wouldn't change the movie at all. Trump allowed them to film in trump tower just so he could be in a scene for his own vanity.
You want to hear a good one ? Trump received the Golden Raspberry Award for Worst Supporting Actor in the film Ghosts Can't Do It. The funny thing is he was supposed to be playing himself in the film, he couldn't even do that right.

It was a shameless cameo that serves no purpose to the story line. It's not like an edit would change ANYTHING in the film.
