Can Liberals still convict Trump in the Senate even if he is gone?

The ONLY reason the LIEberal left socialist demoCROOKS trying to impeach Trump is to TRY and stop him from being able to run for POTUS again in 2024 because they STRONGLY fear if he does they will loose BADLY to him after the MASSIVE FRAUD they committed in last election and what the courts told him he SHOULD have done to contest the results in 2020. But to answer your question once Trump leaves office he is no longer impeachable because he's no longer POTUS they can ONLY impeach him while he's actively holding office and NOT after the fact and there's virtually ZERO chance of the senate even voting on a Trump impeachment because they REFUSE to go back into session until the day before Biden is inaugurated and McConnell will REFUSE to bring it up for a vote.

It takes 67 votes to convict in the Senate. Where do you think they'll be able to find them???

I don't know the legal reasons but I would think not. Once he's out of office, they shouldn't be able to impeach him because he is no longer the president. They had their chance. They failed.

The one party dictatorship is in charge of the country and all those idiots are obsessed with is Trump. Do you have any idea if or when your one party dictatorship is actually going to work on anything else??? Oh yeah, they already sent tax money to the Middle East. Are all libs this one tracked minded? They took control of the country and still all they can think about is Trump. They will destroy this country just like they’ve done their blue states, that millions are fleeing.

Yes. A conviction in the Senate means Trump would be unable to hold elected office in the future.
