Assuming the original component is along the x-axis:
y-component: 0 = 7.50kg*5.43m/s*sin12.0º + 1.60kg*Vy
→ Vy = -5.29 m/s (you might not need the sign)
x-component:
7.50kg*6.42m/s = 7.50kg*5.43m/s*cos12.0º + 1.60kg*Vx
→ Vx = 5.20 m/s

x component: 5.43 cos(12)
y component: 5.43 sin(12)
Put them on calculator and do not forget units m/s
