Google web page dilemma?

When I go to "Google" on my PC and left-click in the "Search box" the below words appear.

I never visited any of the sites listed, how do I remove the entries, or turn off this function?

    Those are "trending" searches that people are searching for. I don't know if there is a way to turn it off.
