Sure but 4K is better since the ps5 was built for 4K and 8k tv.

Unless your TV screen is bigger than about 56” (measured diagonally) you really won’t see much difference with 4K.
For gaming purposes I’d reduce that standard advice to about 50” as gamers tend to sit a bit closer to the TV than normal. But the difference still won’t be very obvious until the screen size exceeds 60” (for gamers) and 65” for normal TV usage.
If your PS5 reduces its output to 1080 then the internal processors can run much cooler and have spare processing capacity. So one advantage is that even under the most action-packed gaming scenes it should still maintain maximum frame rates. (“Should” = depends on how well the software was coded. Modern programmers are often lazy and sloppy compared to those who learned their skills with minimal system resources).

Yeah that's ok. It would look better on a 4k TV but you don't need it to enjoy the games. Just like you don't need an expensive surround sound system, some people just like spending the money to have one.
